about
why do I bother?

why do I bother?

because, please excuse the cliché, people are fascinating.

because they each have their own story - written all over their faces, revealed in their postures, seen in their eyes. a story which is scribbled daily through everything they do, the choices they make and because of who they are; they all came from somewhere and are heading elsewhere, and – here and now – find themselves at a definite stage of that journey.

because it is a topic which is never dull, always bringing something new, amazing. because it is – perhaps a cliché again – life itself. because, if all else seems so familiar, it is always new, always fresh.

last but not least, because if you dedicate your time to something, then let it be something that... will result in maximum added value. something that - apart from satisfaction, bars of gold or whatever goal you consider worthy of your time - will bring something extra, something unexpected, and if you are lucky enough – something bigger than what you had originally planned. some more good – namely, a sudden discovery, emotion, wisdom.

because ultimately, everything you do is always because of someone, for someone, with someone. and then, all of a sudden, without that someone. who, after all, had their own story, dreams, plans. someone who took their wisdom away with them. and left.

so you are welcome
you are welcome to explore... the people
